Koerner Brothers in a Box Light Red

Red liquorice and raspberry jube notes sit upfront but with some air, this reveals dark berries, sweet spice and some lovely porcini-like umami character. Delicious and polished in all the right ways.

Saltfleet GSM 2022

Predominately Pinot Noir this year and blended with Gewürztraminer, Syrah, Gamay and Pinot Meunier to create a wine that is simply delicious. Bright, fleshy, and the perfect spring chiller. A mix of whole bunches (the reds) and skin contact Gewürz was wild fermented and pressed to old French oak while the ferments finished, with no additions besides minimal sulphur.

Ochota Barrels Texture Like Sun Sector Red 2023

A deliciously rich GSM—made with fruit from vines up to 100 years old—overflowing with ripe liquored fruit aromas. In the glass expect moreish sweet cherry, baking spices and some chalky tannin grip coming together for a wine that goes particularly well with the sizzle of the first snag on the barbecue.

Sweet, succulent and overflowing with red and black fruits, red liquorice, a smidge of sandy tannin and an olive brine edge that'll have you racing back for more. Made with a blend of Grenache, Shiraz, Mataro and just a splash of Cinsault, the fruits for this wine were gently hand-picked and vinified in old oak.

Bondar Junto GSM 2022

True to its name, La Petite Soif (or The Little Thirst for the non-French speaking folk) is honest, vibrant and purely delicious. Eden Valley florals, think violets and lilacs, are grounded beautifully by the Barossa's hallmark earthy base notes. Grenache from Krondorf—generously donated by Paul Heinicke—was fermented as whole bunches, with a little foot crushing, for a lifted rendition of the variety coupled with some tight n' chalky tannins. Syrah complements the Grenache beautifully and brings freshness and vibrant acidity to the glass thanks to the earlier picked fruit.

Oria-Riff La Petite Soif 2022

Made with a blend of Grenache, Sangiovese, Pinot Noir, Tempranillo and Barbera. Brimming with cherry berries, raspberry and tart cranberry, hints of sarsaparilla and a ribbon of freshening acidity woven through. Drink with a chill if that's ya vibe, but shoes off and toes in the pool is a non-negotiable!

Grenache, Shiraz and Mourvèdre along with a dollop of Moscato. Super aromatic with red liquorice, fairy floss and a medley of sweet red berries along with just the right amount of mouthwatering acidity. Perfect to drink cool from the esky on a stinkin’ hot day!

22 Degree Halo Chill With The Moon 2022

The Koerner bros have knocked it out of the park with this one—it's super aromatic and balances the sweet and savoury for an impeccable wine, just like the Koerner brothers themselves! Packed with juice-like blackcurrant, hints of dried herbs and a pinch of chalky tannin, plus, it's great with a chill! Grenache and Syrah were cold-soaked as bunches for a few days before destemming and starting the ferment on skins. Light, bright and a far cry from the cask wines of your youth, safe to say it's a box-office success!

A blend of Grenache with Syrah, the fruit was cold soaked as whole bunches before a further cold soak on skins for a few days. Super aromatic florals on the nose lead to a delightful juice-like palate of blackcurrant, a sprinkling of dried herbs and just a smidge of chalk tannin.

Brothers Koerner Light Red 2022

Grab your picnic blanket and your nearest vessel 'cos this is taking you straight to the park. Sweet raspberry, red and black currants, fresh acidity and a dash of salinity make for light n' juicy red, with a little sandy tannin to keep you coming back. Lovely and bright with some whole berry Cab Sav and lots of juicy Grenache.

Jumping Juice Half Full Red 2022

Made from near equal proportions of Grenache, Mataro and Shiraz that was fermented in a mix of stainless steel and oak puncheons. Each variety is bringing something to the table here - savoury spice and ferrous iron from the Mataro, cherry liqueur and fresh acidity from the Grenache, and a kiss of sweet raspberry and firm tannins from the Shiraz. A complex and considered Rhône-style blend that is a joy to drink now, but will reward those with the patience to cellar! (750ml) 14.5% ABV

Massena The Moonlight Run GMS 2020

Old bush vine Grenache leads the charge in this wine and has been fermented with whole bunches, and some Ebenezer Shiraz in the mix too. It's vibrant with lovely satin-like tannins and a dusting of savoury rosemary.

John Duval Concilio 2021

Take a walk through the forest from the comfort of your couch with this fruit-forward GSM, opening with soft aromatics of wild strawberries and ripe cherries. This continues through to the palate with even more dark berries and boysenberry mingling with sweet spices, a pinch of salinity, and a lovely, fresh acidity. Grenache and Mataro was sourced from Bondar's Rayner Vineyard, while the Shiraz comes from a neighbouring site; a little Carignan adds a subtle spice to the blend. All fruit was destemmed and fermented in old oak.

In 2021 the wines ratchet up a notch with increased fruit depth and a newfound quality of tannin structure. The Grenache component leads the charge, with violet lift and raspberry fragrance at the fore. A healthy portion of Shiraz adds layers of deeper set fruit, a touch of crushed rosemary and characterful tannins into the mix. Take a bow Paralian-power-couple, Charlie Seppelt and Skye Salter!
