Michael Hall Roussanne 2021

A textural delight, this is a wine for the adventurous at heart and in the glass. Made in two ceramic eggs, with one portion spending 121 days on skins, and the other pressed as whole bunches and fermented without skins. Concentrated and richly flavoured yet balanced elegantly with freshening acidity.

Yangarra Roux Beaute Roussanne 2021

A delicious Rhône white blend of Roussanne, Grenache Blanc, Marsanne & Viognier. Fennel pollen, apricot, white peach and flinty minerals with some balanced richness and a nice line of citrus acidity on the finish.

Mas du Bressades Cuvée Tradition Costières-de-Nîmes Blanc 2021

A delicious blend of Roussanne, Semillon and Muscat with fantastic fullness and immediacy of flavour—think peach skin, lemon drop and some pepper spice on the textural palate, with hints of savoury candle wax, salinity and some freshening acidity for good measure. Stone fruit aromas round out the wonderful experience that is drinking this wine.

Michael Hall Sang de Pigeon Blanc 2022

Roussanne from slow-ripening vines was barrel fermented in old French oak and left to rest on lees for six months. The result is a textural wine laden with spice and rich honeyed notes tempered by some light mineral salinity, cooling herbs and hints of peach skin.

Allevare Roussanne 2022

Honeyed, white floral aromas with notes of white stone fruit set the scene before the racy palate with flinty minerality, lemon ride, stone fruit and bright acidity take centre stage. Handpicked and sorted Roussanne from old vines, planted in limestone heavy soils was pressed as whole bunches before fermentation in concrete eggs and a short maturation in stainless tanks. An elegant wine of great finesse from the inimitable Dominique Hauvette and one that remains firmly planted on our list of favourite Southern French whites.

10 days on skins gives the wine a delicious texture, with subtle spicy notes of ginger and curry leaf to make things really interesting. You’re gonna love this one.

Fin Mahady Roussanne 2022

Honeysuckle, pear and a little nougat, textural with a savoury feel that sits comfortably amongst some almond blossom lift. There's a whiff of some very nice stuck-match reduction at play here as well. Sit back with a glass of this and enjoy your new favourite wine!

Creamy, but still retaining freshness, with aromas of exotic nuts and spice. There's some extra complexity from wild yeast barrel fermentation and maturation balanced by loads of yellow nectarine.
