With a focus on Loire Valley varieties, this Santa Barbara county-based winery harnesses their local microclimate to craft beautiful wines. Using Melon de Bourgogne from vineyards planted in 1973, this saw time in both neutral oak and stainless steel. Lovely floral aromatics lead into a mineral-driven palate with a crisp acidity. This 100% Chenin Blanc was fermented using indigenous yeasts in a mix of tank and barrel, which was then matured in neutral French oak for a number of months. With a few years under its belt, this is beautiful Chenin, with stone fruit, red apple skin, a whisper of tonic, and a hint of wax. (750ml) 12.0% ABV

Fermented with whole bunches, this is a pure and herbaceous Cabernet Franc. A fresh, peppery nose with a palate of red currants, crushed mint and leafy spice. A little chalky tannin and crunchy acidity provide lovely definition and length. (750ml) 12.7% ABV

Beautifully chiselled and taut, this Chardonnay utilises a much more restrained approach to oak influence than many other American examples that make their way across the Pacific.
