The style is super bright and there’s some lees work and a little trademark Margies, new oak spice. The palate is a wash with citrus and grapefruit pith and of course, some of that Indian Ocean spray. Superb lunch wine.

We’re in on that alone, but there’s also a sturdy backbone of compact stone fruit and a nice citrussy-sherbety pull of acidity to keep you energised over the warmer months. We recommend pouring this into a fishbowl-sized wine glass, giving it a little swirl and savouring everything it has to offer. Superb modern Chardonnay that also deserves some space in the cellar.

Both varieties kicked off fermentation on skins before being pressed and combined mid-ferment. The resulting wine is bright, brisk, and very refreshing with a tense line from the Chenin driving this into the berried and herbal nature of the Shiraz. This could absolutely handle a chill.

This Three Elms is full of aromatics, from rose petals and musk stick to a hint of peach skin. Think delicious poached pear on the palate, perfectly complemented by a sprinkle of cinnamon, tropical fruits and juuuust enough sweetness, all accented by some Frankland River salinity.

Not only is there a dog on the label but what we have here is a straight-up, delicious Tempranillo, and we couldn't be happier about it. Fruit-forward and oh-so plush, with cherry berries, chocolate, and a smidge of tar-like tannin amongst a flash of herbs that go particularly well with a few lamb chops on the BBQ. Did we mention there is a dog on the label?

Not to put this wine on a - insert winking emoji here - but we think it's pretty special! Generous and full, with ripe yellow nectarine, green melon, and citrus alongside brioche and nougat richness and well-balanced oak. One for lovers of big Chardy!
