They use Huon Valley apples to create their Eau de vie, then introduce Kunzea, hand-harvested Kombu, Tasmanian Pepper Berries, Leatherwood Honey, Juniper, Coriander, Orris, Angelica and Blood Orange - alongside water from a lake of snowmelt at the Mount Field National Park that feeds directly down to the distillery. Fruit spent 13 days on skins, with a portion as whole bunches and was wild yeast fermented. The result is a bright and floral wine brimming with lots of light red berries, cherry, and fresh herbs, with just a hint of salinity, too. Would go well with a wee little chill in the chilly bin!

With a focus on traditional brewing techniques that folks at Albert Brewery have created a delicious range of Lagers. The Pilsner is pale gold in colour, with a perfect balance of bitterness to make it a very approachable beer. (375ml) 5.2% ABV

Predominately Pinot Noir, this year's iteration is richer and more opulent while retaining its balanced freshness. A little heathered honey, with layers of strawberry mousse, red apple skin and a nice jolt of citrus oil zing, with a low dosage at 3.5g. This release is based on the 2020 harvest, with 15% coming from the Lubiana reserve wine program.

When Ashley & Jane Huntington discovered the Griggs family at Lucaston Orchards in the Huon Valley were still growing the famous old English cider variety, Sturmer Pippin, that was all the motivation we needed to produce a traditional, unfiltered, bottle fermented farm cider made using only apples and wild microorganisms. Thalia Brut Sparkling NV

The Derwent portion was 100% whole bunch fermented using only light foot plunges. The weather wasn't as kind to the Huon fruits, instead, this portion was destemmed and sorted, leaving only the best fruit for whole-berry fermentation. The resulting wine is a celebration of the softness and elegance of Huon fruit and the structure and spice of the Derwent. It's approachable now with a good decant, but will reward you greatly if you can bear to wait.

Marco Lubiana Huon & Derwent Pinot Noir 2022

This is the final year we'll seen a blend of both of Marco's sites—Huon and Derwent Valleys—in this wine. A Tassie Chardonnay with great concentration and depth of flavour, while still maintaining freshness. A small proportion of new oak gives breadth to the mid-palate. A rich, intriguing wine, bringing pure enjoyment to your glass!

Strelley Farm Pinot Noir 2022

Downright delicious Savvy B—it's herbal and so aromatic on the nose, yet delightfully soft on the palate. Orange stone fruit and passionfruit notes meet fresh acidity and a hint of green melon, with a soft phenolic pull. Lovely as it is but this would love to join you for dinner.

The Estate Pinot has some good spice and a pinch of sappy whole bunch creates length and tension. Delicious wine that runs a tight line and will continue to develop over the coming years.
