The fruit for this wine was pressed as whole bunches, with half foot stomped a day prior, before being vinified completely in ceramic eggs. Lemon balm, citrus and a tingle of acid on the palate playfully intermingle with some phenolic pull and a ripeness of fruit that’s absolutely on point! Bottled, unfined, unfiltered, and without additions.

Sourced from the Willowgrove vineyard in Gippsland, this is savoury upfront with mealy and hay-like aromas setting the scene for the beautifully textural palate that simply demands food. Red apple, plenty of phenolic drive and some lees chalkiness, with pumice stone-like minerality.

Love this wine. So much. It pours that delicious pale straw colour and with every breath, you smell tinges of ripe stone fruit, honeycomb and some nougaty goodness. But let's get to drinking and tasting a creme brulee, some lemon and just a whisper amount of peach Brûlée. Cheers the sky on a cold day and watch the clouds disperse.
