Syrah from the cool site of the Saddleback vineyard was crushed by foot and fermented as whole bunches. The resulting wine is savoury in style with green, peppery tapenade notes meeting celery salt and an iron-like edge, with some hibiscus rounding it out. Adventurous Syrah drinkers, rejoice!
